What is Kleidi?
Kleidi is a smart contract-based wallet designed to protect your funds even when you're under physical duress. It's built for users who need maximum security for their crypto holdings.
The Problem
Traditional crypto wallets have a critical vulnerability: they assume you're always in full control of your keys. But what happens if someone forces you to transfer your funds? This "wrench attack" has become a real concern as crypto adoption grows.
The Solution
Kleidi introduces time-based security. All sensitive operations require a delay (1-30 days configurable), meaning an attacker would need to:
- Compromise your keys
- Force you to sign a transaction
- Maintain control over you for weeks
- Avoid detection during that entire period
This makes the attack impractical and gives you time to respond and cancel the transaction.

Wrench Resistant
Even if an attacker forces you to sign a transaction, the 30-day timelock means they would need to kidnap and hold you for a month without detection. This fundamentally changes the risk/reward calculus for attackers.
